A Year-Long Mentorship & Academic Engagement Program for Future Healthcare Leaders
We are pleased to announce the launch of the HOPE (Healthcare Orientation & Practical Education) Scholars Program — a selective, year-long educational and mentorship experience designed for motivated students pursuing careers in medicine and healthcare.

Primarily for college and high school students. Highly motivated middle school students may be considered.

Approximately 38–40 structured weeks
(Excludes major holidays, exam periods, and scheduled breaks)

Weekly virtual engagement (evenings/weekends)

Alternate-week clinical case discussions led by clinicians

Interactive lectures on:

Clinical pathways & diagnostic reasoning

Ethics, global health, and health equity

Medical careers & specialty tracks

Research, academic writing, and scholarly publishing

Faculty-guided mentorship from esteemed physicians and healthcare professionals
All faculty and mentors serve 100% voluntarily — no teaching or administrative stipends are paid.
📝 Capstone Academic Project
Graduates of the program will have the opportunity to:

Work in small groups to author an original academic or reflective healthcare manuscript

Publish the article on the HOPE academic webpage

Submit to a peer-reviewed journal
This experience is designed to develop academic writing, collaboration, and scholarly credibility — a major strength on medical school and healthcare professional applications.
